CMS was responsible for the design and installation of the new heating system, and performed 65% of the work with their own forces. CMS installed more than 1,600 LF of new welded carbon steel piping, a new 11,000 cubic feet per minute (CFM) downdraft table exhaust fan and two new 2,837,000 British thermal units per hour (BTUH) make-up air units with a total of 52,000 CFM of make-up air. CMS successfully coordinated construction activities with minimal impact to over 3,000 people who visit the cafeteria on a daily basis.
