The project entailed removing the old steam pipe and replacing it with new pipe in phases and sections. After excavation, asbestos abatement was completed, allowing the existing steam piping and concrete slab to be removed. CMS started the work for the cast-in-place concrete that formed the new 230' shallow trench. While the concrete was being installed, CMS fabricated and installed the steel structures every 15' for the full length of the shallow trench.
